About Us

Our Mission

Life Publishers International is a global ministry of Assemblies of God World Missions, publishing Bibles and Christian literature to communicate the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our mission is to print the FireBible in the top 100 heart languages in the world. We invite all believers to join us in meeting this challenge. Nothing is more powerful than being able to read God’s Word in one’s own heart language.

Our History

Beginning in the 1980’s, the Full Life Study Bible was the project and vision of late missionary, Donald Stamps as appointed by Loren Triplett. While serving in Brazil, Donald and Loren recognized a need in the church for a Study Bible written from a Pentecostal perspective. They began creating a series of notes that would accompany Scripture throughout the entire Bible. Dr. Wes Adams also joined the team, and was tasked with writing the book introductions.

Though struggling with cancer, Don continued to work believing this Bible would be completed. In 1991, shortly after finishing his notes and submitting them for publishing, he passed away.

In 1996, the Assemblies of God World Missions leaders saw the potential for this Bible to be used around the world and assigned the project to Life Publishers. Since that time, over 65 languages have been produced and new editions are in process.

Frequently Asked QUESTIONS

Life Publishers

Bible Alliance served as a fundraising platform for FireBible, and is no longer functioning under that name. FireBible is the study Bible produced by Life Publishers, a publishing ministry of Assemblies of God World Missions.

We are a ministry working in partnership with missionaries and national churches to publish evangelism, discipleship, and training materials. In addition, we provide editing, formatting and printing assistance to writers, ministers, and churches.

We are not a commercial publisher—we don’t solicit books for publication or pay royalties. There are certain circumstances where we can assist you in publishing your book, but all costs will be borne by you.

International Work

The FireBible takes an average of between 4 to 5 years to produce.

We work in cooperation with national churches and missionary fellowships to determine which languages to produce.

For non-English FireBibles, we enter into license agreements with Bible societies and Bible Translation Groups to produce the FireBible using the most accurate, current and accepted text available in the target language. The Bibles in other countries were translated directly from original language texts ie. Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek to their own language. We don’t normally translate the Scripture text itself.

We strive to do all our translation work with native language speakers as close to the target area as possible.

We work with major printers around the world. The selection of a printer depends on quality, price, shipping, customs, and several other factors. We will usually select a printer nearest to the target country or one that has the easiest import regulations to the target country.

Many factors go into the cost of producing a FireBible. These include license fees, translation, editing, formatting/layout, printing, shipping, and customs. Other factors like inflation, cost of living, and GNP of the target country are also considered. On average, a FireBible project will cost between $400,000 and $600,000 from start to finish.

Every year, we focus our fundraising efforts on several projects. You can view our 2023 Focus Projects here.

The FireBible is currently available in over 65 languages.
